Hi all,
It’s been a bit since I have posted, but I just came back after a week in Maine celebrating one of my best friend’s wedding (I’ll post pictures later #loveandlobster ). When I came back, I was so happy to see the wonderful Stitch Fix box. I swear…this box that comes every month is such a thrill for me. Especially when I see the beautifully wrapped stack of clothing and the first peak at all of the patterns and colors. This made me want to sign up for every ‘box’/subscription there is. I have to not do that though.
This month, I only ended up keeping one item. The different designs were great, I just have a lot of what was sent or something similar. This is the downfall of being a shopaholic…you have most of it. I’ll hand it to Andrea (my stylist) though. She picked some great patterns and a skirt that I would normally have kept and loved, but I had just bought something similar at JCrew! Still….bravo Andrea, can we be friends?
Here goes my August Stitch Fix Review:
1) Bay to Baubles- Eryn Triple Leaf Earrings
Usually I would love something like this, but not now. Not sure what it was, but I just don’t think they fit my style well. Similar here.
2) Collective Concepts- Pamela V-Neck Blouse
I loved this shirt. I ended up keeping this because it looked great with the striped skirt. The pattern is amazing and I think it would look good with either a skirt or a suit outfit for work. Way to go Andrea! Similar here .
3) Fun2Fun- Hobson Scoop Neck Blouse
This shirt was a little tight on me (probably due to my obsessive lobster eating on vacation). It was also very sheer so I had to send it back. I wish could’ve kept it because it’s a wonderful shirt and the pattern was perfect.
Ahhhh! I LOVED this skirt and it fit perfectly (could use one more inch at the bottom for work). The problem was that I already have a cute JCrew striped skirt like this. If I didn’t have that I would’ve for sure kept it. She nailed my style! See above for picture 2). Similar here.
5) Collective Concepts- Bertona Split Neck Blouse
I had just received a flower version of this shirt in the last fix, so I sent it back. There is no reason to have multiple patterned shirts. This fix was also filled with tanks so I picked one and said it was enough. Such a great shirt though! Similar here.
All in all, great job Stitch Fix! Can’t wait for the next one.
